Bridge Bread on Cherokee


Bridge Bread is a nonprofit social enterprise that hires people experiencing homelessness to make artisan breads and sweet rolls.
Bridge Bread is a volunteer-driven organization, and we welcome new volunteers to help share our story, tell customers about our products, and help them with their purchases. Volunteer shifts at Bridge Bread on Cherokee range from two hours four hours in length. Contact us at info@bridgebread.org to sign up or to get more information.

Location

We are open 8:30 am to 7:00 pm Tuesday through Saturday and 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday.

Directions

To get to the Bake Shop from I64/US 40, take the Jefferson Avenue South exit and proceed South to Cherokee. When you see the 20-foot-tall Cherokee, look for a place to park. You will see Bridge Bread just West of Jefferson on the South side of Cherokee.

Parking

There is metered street parking on Cherokee right outside the Bake Shop (often full) and on Jefferson around the corner (often open). In addition there is off-street parking across Jefferson between Hong Kong Express and Byrd & Barrel.
